A part used carton of tomato juice exploded when I forgot about it at the back of the fridge. I never thought to check it's country of origin. LOL.

I agree...we usually make our own Mac n' Cheese, she's a very picky eater.
But she got tired of ours, and remembered her mom fixing Kraft.
Woke up one night hungry, so I raided the fridge.
And discovered that crappy mac n cheese, asked the next day, she said it was Kraft. I just figured it was a cheap generic knockoff...
Yuck!

My homemade uses a concoction of herbs as a salt substitute, it works very well for that application.
I've tried to cut back on salt since the stroke. I feel better.
On Nutrisystem food I use Morton "Salt Substitute", it's just Potassium without Sodium. Works well.

I'm sorry but I don't agree....'Peace at all costs' in many ways can facilitate a lot of evil stuff going down. Sometimes conflict is unavoidable or even necessary.

 

It was nine years ago. Three weeks after my 44th Birthday.

Way too much stress in my life, and was drowning it in Booze. Can't tell I had one now, except that sometimes in mid conversation I totally forget what I was talking about, or what I was going to say.
And I still have a blind spot, thankfully its in the upper sight range. And I don't deal with heat or stress well.
Just glad to be where I am now.

 

Salt substitute.. don't use potassium, it's worse..
Cheese has its own added salt, just get used to it..

Mac and cheese tastes better with a good mature cheddar..

Pasta.. I don't eat much, too high in carbs, but when I do, I add lots of cheese, or tuna...

 

I've had Annie's before if memory serves. I was shopping at a Wildberry's in Arcata many years ago and they had it among the mac n cheese varieties. It was fairly ordinary if I remember correctly.

I haven't purchased mac n cheese very often, as I have been on this same diet for very long. And even before I was I don't think I was inclined to buy it. It says cheese right on it! That tells me maybe I should think twice because I may end up gaining more weight than I'd like.

 

I make bomb-ass homemade macaroni and cheese with white Vermont cheddar
