Happened to be wearing the same shirt...I do own more, me promises The last was taken after my illness progressed and id lost a lot of weight, so i look like a rake And i dont know why im grabbing my crotch, no
Thank you for being kind! And to prove i really have more shirts haha this is so wannabe artsy London
Hehe, aw thanx guys Youre all lovely Iluvmusic, unfortunately im tres poorlysome indeed Its a progressive thing, and as my sugars are SO difficult to control there are lots of problems still, like my eyes becoming useless for one. And a cold is like a near death sentence for me, which is why im down here hibernating while the weather changes. I still have lots of blood tests to come and ill know more then so ill keep you updated. All began about 6 months ago when i started having to pee every 5 minutes and fainting and blacking out. Im still a newbie Anyway, its reassuring to hear im not really rake-like and im still presentable Thankou everyone
Heh, just wait until i finally bug my mum enough times for her to send over baby and toddler pics for the baby forumers thread
Oh yeah, its diabetes alright. Well, thats what id put my money on above anything else i know of. Theyve temporarily put me on the sugar/carb control diet and regular testing, which is all well and good for a type 2, but as you know im gona be type 1 being so young and the way i am. Insulin is yet to make a full time appearance, although ill be very scared if it has to Theyre just messing about with the diagnosis doing doing lots of other tests. Maybe theres another condition involved or something, i duno. I think my skin confused them...i have these patches, "cafe au lait spots" theyre apprently called, although milky coffee would not come out this colour. But apparently that isnt a classic symptom so theyre looking all over the place for other stuff I just changed doctor though and this ones a LOT better, says its urgent a diagnosis must be made this week, which is great news So ill let you know
My friend doesnt have nearly that bad diabetes as you but he like has to inject insulin every day and hes only 14 (same as me) and thats harsh if you ask me cos the doctors say its there forever. Hope ya feel better xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanx very much I feel for your friend...could be what i face. Truth is, his diabetes is just as bad as my illness now, just his injections make it seem less so. If he came off them hed be facing death. He must be very brave so young. Luckily with his insulin he should have a happy healthy life There are some strong, strong people out there Anyway thanx very much for wishing me well
Awwww thank you!!!! You're the first person to compliment my sig! lol the rest of the lot just go on about how we should kill all pigs to annoy me... (btw sock eating snickerdoodles my username on another forum) We're both doing Yoga (his mum doesnt like him being dependent on insulin and shes scared stiff he'll go blind.) Illness sucks im ill now too (cough, cold.) On the plus (and its a small plus but i dont care) hes thin now. Sorry for derailing your thread...
