I meditate occassionally and I do see purple and bluish colors floating around. I don't know if it is just some kind of impressions from the parts in my eye that reflect colors though...

Also I had a dream the other night where I saw the purple swirling and blue and turning into different colors I was just laying in my bed eyes closed, I kept focusing on it til I walked around outside my body, no floating though I felt REALLY heavy, did I project? why would I feel so heavy?

This has happened before with random dream produced projections, I feel very heavy. LIke I am made of sand bags.

Why am I weighed down so much?

A ghost might be sitting on your shoulders. I saw it in a movie once. Had Pacey from Dawsons Creek in it, I think.

Everybody who has functioning eyes sometimes sees colours when they close them.

Sitting still for long periods in itself will make a person feel "heavy", as can a number of other factors such as illness, eating a large meal, drinking a lot, certain medicines or even the weather. It would be impossible for anyone here to tell you exactly why you felt that sensation on that particular occasion. Inactivity certainly wont help, and neither will focussing on the belief that you feel this way and that it might mean something. Power of suggestion.

I don't know why you would get the heaviness, I'm the opposite...light as a feather. Could it be that you are starting to astral travel but not quite making it? idk.

Most people when out and about do not know the mind needs a focal point to leave and return to. When the mind finds a reference point naturally there is no problem. Here the only limits we have are the ones we create in our minds eye. The mind, when feeling threatened, will disregard, or create false memories, or feelings to compensate for what it has no reference point for trying to understand. When your mind works with you there is no heaviness, or block. This is true with shape shifting as well.

The mind as well as the ego must be ally's to your intent, other wise they become your enemies in that which you wish to explore, or understand...especially when it is new information. This is because we come here for consequences through our lessons and experiences. This is what the mind understands. To move out side of this frame work leaves the mind at a loss in what its job is.

To move beyond the heaviness look within for what your intended focal point is. The reason for this is the mind sees this new exploration in what is "Not Real" as an intended exit point, or death. The mind is just saying by the sensation of heaviness that awareness is not clear in that which you are doing.

I can lucid dream naturally sometimes too. It seems like the more I think about it, the less frequently it happens. I believe I projected once during a "false awakening." I dreamed that I got up and wrote something in my dream journal but woke up to nothing in my journal. I felt a normal amount of heaviness I guess. That was during a time I was doing energy exercises to try and project. I don't know why I stopped. Too busy I guess.

How often? I sometimes feel heavy too. Is it after meditation? When I used to meditate early in the morning I would fall asleep afterwards and experience some of the deepest sleep that I ever experienced, and I would feel like a ton of bricks. I loved it though.

    Is is pleasurable?
