thinking of getting this tattoo

im a scorpio and im thinking of getting this tat on my arm what do ya think. im also thinking of maybe getting the first letter of my name being K with a scorpion tail coming off of it. any ideas

I don't really like the generic astrology tattoos, if i were you i would get an actual scorpion done to represent you being Scorpio. That would look much more.. bad ass

 

Then again, the actual scorpion is a bit overdone too..

Whatever you do, I'd try to make it a little more personal by adding something of your own to it.
But in the end, it's your tattoo, your decision.

 

yes it is but it would still be 100 times better than just his sign. you could always elaborate on it afterwords and create a nice sleeve. If you just got the sign your basically stuck with that.

 

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But I've got a zodiac tattoo that isn't in the norm, so I know that you can get traditional zodiac tats and add your own feel to them.

-Mine is a peace sign made out of an Aries symbol going for the war vs peace side of nature(with more stuff than that included, I just thought I'd give an example)

 

I don't like generic tattoos.. I wanted a scorpion when I was younger, but I'm glad I never got one. Create something in your mind, have the artist help you express it, his work will be different from what you had in mind, but it'll be like yours and the artist's lovechild. :tongue:

i like hearing yalls ideas. but im set on that tattoo. i picked that certain one due to the fact im just wanting something very simple but meaning to me. i have no intentions of covering my body in ink i just want a little something simple. to make it more personal im puting my parents name at the bottom. kinda like when a artist signs their name after they are done with their work but with my parents name kinda like im their finished work of art. get what im saying
