Thinking about getting my hood piercing redone

I got a horizontal hood piercing about 3 1/2 months ago. I'm thinking of taking it out and getting it redone. It's obviously crooked - way off on one side. When it was done, the guy kept pinching my clit in the tongs and I think he got nervous when I kept saying ouch and put the tongs on crooked. The problem is, I have a VERY small clit and hood and I'm afraid if I take it out, I'll go to get it redone and the person will tell me I don't have enough tissue (I'm not going to the same person). I'd rather have it crooked than not have it at all.

Has anyone had a genital piercing redone? Did it hurt worse the second time? Will any scar tissue I have affect it? I think it's pretty much healed - will it make a difference to wait to get it done or should it be sooner rather than later?

scar tissue isnt a factor, unless there is a significant amount. about the size, there is a good chance you do not have proper anatomy. go to a piercer and have them look at it. they will tell you for sure if you have the proper anatomy for the piercing.

 

My clit is small too. I went to have it looked at for a hood piercing....mine isn't big enough. So, that's probably why it hurt a lot and it's crooked....you just don't have the clit for the piercing.

 

It didn't hurt a lot to get the piercing - just when the guy kept catching my clit in the tongs instead of the hood. I did the Q-tip test and I should have enough tissue. I think I just had a bad piercer.

 

I had my hood peirced and it was crooked... i took it out after about 2 months and let it heal then went and had it redone.. the scar tissue shouldnt be an issue unless it has become infected or someother problem to casue exssive scar tissue... it actually hurt less for me the sceond time becasue i knew what to expect... make sure you let it heal all the way before you go back and have it redone...
if you go to another person and they say you dont have enough tissue LISTEN to them becasue if theres not enough tissue it will rip or grow out leaving the area disfigured... and well thats not a dandy place to have to explain why it looks scary...

 

I'm just curious. Why would you want to pierce your clitoris?

 

It's not the clit, it's the clit hood. It's the equivalent to a foreskin on a guy. Mine (horizontal) is purely decorative - I think it looks sexy. The verticle has a sexual function, it rubs on the clit during sex and sometimes at other times.

This girl has a MUCH smaller hood than me. If she's good with a piercing, I should be fine. I'm still going to go in for a consultation, to make sure the piercer I choose is comfortable with my anatomy before I take out the piercing I have now.

Yes they look nice and can be pleasurable for women, but its just another thing for me to worry about hurting. Ive had couple bad experiences I guess you can say, and I just don't see it worth the pain.

 

well, a second of pain, for up to a lifetime of greater pleasure. seems perfectly worth it to me..

i got an 8ga prince albert and 8ga frenum one friday afternoon as my first genital.. easily my most painful piercing (pa) but even now i can easily tell it was definately worth it. id say my fuck buddies would agree...

 

no, I mean while having sex I came close to ripping her ring out. She swelled up and was sore for a couple days....

i know my PA hurts quite bad occasionally during sex.. can get very tender.. of course when its not being a bitch.. well its very good

or as a friend did earlier, nearly ripped out his partners sternum piercing with his nipple ring.. got one ball inside the skin.. wouldnt of been pleasant..
