Well its needs drawing to everyones attention, mine too, of the fact that Faslane Peace Camp will only continue to be there with your support .. nothing less.

Between everyone of us who is going up to faslane peace camp over the summer things you need to do.

    Before you go:

    • look around your house and think of what you don't need that they will be able to make use of.

    • Spend a whole day, grab some faslane leaflets (print them off the net) and get your arse round to all the shops, food, hardware and tell them who you are where you are going, what Faslane is about and why they should give you some support in any way they can, for donations that you can take up with you when you go.

    • Get on the net on forums or message boards or emailing directly to suppliers for donations that you can take up with you when you go.

    Things they need:

    • FOOD (no meat only vegetarian will do .. important.

    • Rope

    • Wood

    • Any building materials at all.

    • Clothes (especailly some kids clothes, fungus is expecting twins this year)

    • Nappies etc for babies.

    • Radios/ stereos

    • A GEIGER COUNTER!!!!! .. they really need this.

    • Walkie talkies.

    • Any kind batteries (from small aa ones to car batteries)

    • Paint and thinners.

    • Toilet roll and bathroom stuff .. (eco friendly)

    • A GENERATOR

    • A CAR

    • Tarpaulins (desperate)

    • Medical supplies

    • Candles

    • A buss/train pass to Glasgow.

    • Bicycles

    • Nuclear missiles .. oh sorry they already have those!

If anyone has access to any of this stuff or anything else you can think of and can't get it up there pm me and I will come collect it and take it there myself .. (they do have a postal address too)

This is important ... Please help if you can .. there are real people up there making a real difference.

    Love and Peace

There are some of you out there in the crowd who think that there are enough out there in the crowd so that it makes no difference if you do nothing as it will go unoticed ... be one of the ones who does it.

Gieger counter? Do you think the radiation is really that bad around the area? Around nuclear power plants the average life expectancy is actually reduced less than it is by living in an urban area. I wonder what it would be like around trident. Certainly a good campaigning tool....

Come on SAL! ... man alive ... Its needed to monitor the levels over time ... in various places around the base ... including the Loch where the base actually admit to releasing "low levels" of radiation.

The difference between a mental disibility and a phrsical disibility is that you can see it! .. People act more when you can see something.

They can't see radiation so they kind of don't overly worry about it ... it's not in their face.

If the base began dumping huge piles of household rubbish in the loch then theree would be uproar!! .. tho i know which I would rather have them do.

    Peace.:)

I'll have a good clean of my house and see if i come across anything of use :)

If i do come across anything..... is it ok if i pass it on to someone who is going to faslane? then they can give it to them for me :)

.... i know i have a backwards clock i've been trying to get rid off for a fair few months now.... now might be my chance :p

    Anyhow... i'll have a look around :D

We have a fair bit of paint kicking about, some huge garden liner/tarpaulin things somewhere and maybe some clothes. I'll have a root about. :) Would really love to come up to the camp this summer sometime, I'll have to see what I can do.

I can do you a good sized bag of childrens clothes, but how to get them to you.

I could get them to Peace-Phoenixs place if that would help. Do let me know if this is any good. Thanks Giles for giving those of us who won't get to Faslane a way to help

    love
