Im going to be in seattle for two days and ive heard my chances of getting rain are high. Ill be staying at a hostel so i dont want to be in there all day.

Im going to be going up to the ballard area for a couple of hours so i was wondering if theres things along the way or near to do just incase it does rain on either of days.:hurray:

bring a rain coat. Ballard ave has some great music at night. The Tractor tavern is great. But Ballard has come a long way in the last ten years. Going up scale fast but still some nice restaurants. Golden gardens has a nice beach and the hill behind is a great walk in the woods in the city.

    embrace the rain!
we go out all the time in the rain, you've just got to go with it!

you could go to the museums, like the EMP and science fiction museum and everything.......
or the library, the main library downtown.... if you like books it is pretty fucking amazing+!

i always like to be outside when it rains. :2thumbsup:
walking around downtown, chilling with people on the roof, i love to be out in the rain.

Spoken like someone who I reckon never had to work outside in the wind and rain. Stay in school kids or you might be working in ditches in the pouring rain.:(

If you are more interested in truffle salt than the price of gold, this is your scene.

There is EMP and Seattle Science Center. Or, you could hop over to Pike Place Market and Uwijimaya. There are a ton of things to do in Seattle. Just depends on what you like to do.

The fish market is interesting and of course there is the space needle. Coffee shops can be pleasant on a rainy morning or afternoon watching the people.

That’s because our summer “dry” is still going on. I live in Olympia and we have had less than .5 inches of rain all together since the 4th of July!
