Exactly! Soles like leather, heel cracks (have to be managed I find), tanned (with no tan-lines!) barefeet
No tan lines around the ankles, been able to walk over a variety of surfaces with ease and tough leathery soles.
Having strong foot muscles and thick skin on my soles, and feeling a sense of accomplishment from it. Being able to snow walk where no others would try it. Just overall feeling happy that that particular part of my body is now stronger and healthier as a result, compared to how things were 20 years ago.
Can't remember where I last had my shoes. Walking along the side of the road in winter, and cars are slowing down when they get near me.
Watch....especially the reaction of the German audience. The name of the song is "freedom" in english.
Yep, when I see the tourists at the beach who struggle walking barefoot in the parking lot and that asphalt isn't the rocky kind at all.
