I’m glad it’s still the weekend. Glad I’m having spaghetti and garlic bread tonight for dinner!

    I like your style!

My bff is of Italian descent and her mom passed down a bunch of family recipes to me. You're inspiring me to want to make a homemade sauce but I dont have the ingredients and the grocery stores are kinda screwed up right now. Do have the ingredients to make pesto from scratch tho...

Yup. Eggs, salt, flour, basil, pine nuts, olive oil, chicken thighs... let's do this. Ah pooh... Its Sunday. Dinner with my parents. Ok, I will shelve this till monday night

Pesto? Nah. Most sauces are easy to make (bearnaise aside) but there is something so satisfying about having a sauce or broth simmering away for hours on your stove. Let me make a traditional italian red sauce or Japanese ramen broth, give me 3 good movies to watch, a bottle of good sake, and get out of my way while it simmers and I am as happy as can be. Bonus points if it is a cold and rainy day

I wish I felt this way! Food preparation, cooking, baking is something I don't enjoy at all. I do quite a lot of it because I like eating healthily and simply, but if I am ever financially rich enough, a world class vegetarian chef will be my single rich person extravagance.

Oh yuck bagz, usually those documentaries are always directed by the allies. Typically all fluff IMO.

My wife calls them "Tokens" :p

It's like on a lot of comedy shows now there's the token Indian from India. Now most of them are American I know, but if I'm meant to associate well... I really don't see that many Indians around here... And if I do, they don't particularly mingle with us white folks lol. And never have I ever seen a friendship group with an Indian in there. I've seen Indian circle groups, but not a random Indian in a white circle.

Anyway, so they're the "tokens" she says.

My left pierced ear is finally fully healed.

Screw using hydrogen peroxide ever again.
    Extra Strength Neosporin worked beautifully.
    100 percent total satisfaction.
