well if we didnt have a war saddam would still be in power we would still have sanctions which people tell me killed 2 million people, and those sanctions could have gone on for years .
you have a war that kills 10,000 people, no more saddam, no sanctions , how many more people would have died if we had let saddam and then saddams children in charge of iraq

the italians are rumoured to have paid a million dollars for their hostages to me that sounds like appeasement

And I just wanted to point out that none of these foreign contractors even need to be in Iraq. There are a myriad of Iraqi companies, Iraqi builders, and Iraqi engineers who could and should have been hired to work on reconstruction - but the FACT is that the entire point of all of this is making money for the US and the "allies" who accepted such payoffs in exchange for ignoring international law. Now these people are paying the price - with their HEADS.

The left generally goes along with the agenda of islamists ,I personally think that in some cases they are getting bought, and in other cases its just common anti-westernism .
I know a lot of my friends who support secularism and are anti-religion in places like iran feel pretty let down , they go to left wing western media and they dont get their storys covered .

I am speechless to that, that is the most vile thing i have ever heard.

 

I didnt support the war originally, but gradually Im coming round more and more to think it was a good idea, and partly this has to do with something a poster called showmet in uk forum said .

basically he explained that you cant have a war under international law because of compassion , that you need to have a threat to your country to start a war
so that as there was no real threat, bush and blair were war criminals

I basically think bush and blair picked a fight they lied , but I think their motives were better than the people who would have left sanctions and saddam in place .

if you think that 2 million people died because of sanctions the number of people killed in iraq would need to be a hell of a lot higher before you could say that the war wasnt worthwhile .
I would disagree that before the war there wasnt a sizeable number of islamists in iraq, they were there but they didnt make their move because of fear of saddam although you had had risings.

I think the americans are seen as a pretty dumb easy target , who really dont understand how to fight a war against islamists, I think the whole situation of the ali mosque and the way that terrorists have been able to hide in it and make fake truces like the one they are making at present is just seen as weakness .

at present iraq is attracting islamists from all over.
there have been something like 125 suicide bomb attacks in iraq for that sort of numbers you must have a some sort of production line I would guess this is being helped by iran

thats why regime change in iran would be a good idea
