This sucks I wanted to do something else besides this shit in 2020 but I guess they know no one is going to take action to stop it till it does get worse so they are letting it.

 

i do agree with shutting down schools. because of this virus but also in the 21st century schools are pointless kids carry the answer to most questions in their pockets. As for taking action to stop this illness it is airborne so staying home if you live in a town o city is not going to protect you. most likely we wont see a wide spread vaccine for 2 or more years.

 

Wait until a student or staff member contracts the virus. Schools will shutdown then

NPR did 4 minutes on this today. They introduced a guy from the WHO as "Mike Ryan" who went on to say the US response has been terrible, when compared to Singapore and Japan. both nations that clamped their borders tightly at the first word of the disease.

Can you imagine the screams of "racism" if Trump had closed US borders utterly and arbitrarily? Also, I don't know why NPR introduced him in that way. But instead of identifying him as Doctor Michael Ryan, who has been a global alert director for the WHO for around 20 years, they just call him Mike!

Kids arent getting seriously sick though

If they are contagious and stay at home, they are more likely to infect relatives, neighbours etc.

Shutting the schools is a bad idea, the virus will spread faster

 

kid is home more time than at school any ways so if the family is going to get sick from the kids then maybe dont send the to a petri dish like a school in the first place then they wont carry sickness home with them. And for the love of all things if you or your kid is sick stay the hell home dont go out and spread it
