    If anyone hasn't seen this dystopic satire from 1988, who is critical of society and the government, they need to see it now! John Carpenter has put out some great movies, and this is my favorite. It is so relevant to the mind-controlled society we live in today.

    my brother has this movie in his queue...... he is into weird movies like this..... he likes blue velvet and texas chainsaw massacre, the audition, suspiria..... crazy movies.

    I never said that it was critically acclaimed or featured great actors. I could care less about things like that. Yes, it probably would define as a B-movie (and a clut classic). It's a satire and it has a lot of veiled truth to it. It nicely portrays the subliminal world of illusion we are living in.

    I wasn't disputing it's status as a cult classic.. I did like the film I remember..

    yah i liked that movie...best quote if i remember it correctly is when he walks into the building and says "i'm here to kick ass and chew bumble gum"
