So I graduated college last Decemebr and found myself a job. Abouut a year ago I decided I wasn't going to rent and wanted to purchase my next residence. I weighed all the options and decided upon a condo for some reasons. I also decided to stay out in suburbs because of a plethora of reasons but to have a nice place downtown gets way overpriced imo. So I finally closed on my condo (I had to wait for the construction to finish). Here's the family room view from the couch. I am still waiting for the store to get the right accent chair for the corner in a couple of weeks. the kitchen The Dining Room. I'm replacing the table with one that matches the cocktail table and is about the height of a bar table. the door is for the laundry room.
The next three are the lounge/office. The only television of the house, sleep sofa, wall posters, etc. My sakic stick will go on one of the walls once I get it over here.
This is the master bedroom. At the corner on the foot of the bed I'm waiting for another accent chair to come in. sunset from the balcony off the family room with the grill patio furniture I know the walls are barren throughout the house. I'm still working on finding the appropriate art work. I'm coming close on some "hip" nature works and maybe some tribal masks on one wall in the family room. I'll paint some walls as time goes on but I wanted to stay neutral until I have the rest figured out. Growing up my dad's hobby was construction, so we have the know how and the access to contractors pricing on all materials so as I find more free time we'll be upgrading the floors to hardwood and tile, granite countertops, marble in the bathrooms etc. TheShow is a homeowner.
I decided it was time to by a truly headie piece. I spent all yesterday afternoon going from store to store in search of the headiest piece that I could find and I know when I saw it, that it was the piece for me. yet to be named. Tagged at 805. Got it sold for 650 after tax.
Might as well show what TheShow is currently sitting on. Can't wait for that qp from cali in mid june but I might back it down to just 2 zips. Much Love Friends!
I like the quite of the suburbs, but I'm 25 minutes from downtown so it isn't bad. Everything I do is in the quadrant of denver where I live. My office, the two rinks I skate at, and a majority of my extended family, red rocks is less than 10 minutes away, tons of great hiking I can be to the ski area in an hour. Its quite ideal for me. Somepeople are city dwellers and that's swell but me I like my suburban habitat.
Thanks man I love it. I can't wait to use it in the midst of a trip. These pics don't even do it justice everytime I pick it up I get amazed. I think I'll end up moving my entire collectino to pieces of this caliber. We had showed my buddies some pics of it before i bought it and they thought it looked awesome but were speechless when they actually got to hold/use it.
Nice!! We should all show pics of our places now!! Maybe im a freak but I LOVE seeing where other people dwell.
