It's got just about everything you could imagine. I picked up a copy of "Watchmen" the other day and my next score will be a "Bloom County" collection. When I walked in I felt like a kid in a candy store. I was on a mostly natural high. If anyone has any recommendations let me know.
I don't have any inkling what that is terrortrish. lol. Many I know read comics with phones or Ipads, but that sorta takes the fun out of it. Nothing beats laying around on a lazy Sunday with a glass of chocolate milk and a good comic in your hands. Plus when my son gets older I can give my collection to him just like my dad gave all his comics from the 70s to me. A memory card won't have the same wow affect as a box full of comics with chocolate milk stains on them.
I'm not much of a comic book fan in general but the ones I like I really love I recommend Blueberry and Thorgal.
I've never liked comic books. I just don't see the appeal. I can't say much though.....I collected pogs lol
I used to draw a lot and am very setting sensitive so to say. So when the setting and drawing style intrigues me I can enjoy it a lot.
anything by: grant morrison garth ennis alan moore neil gaiman particularly from hell (which is utterly fantastic and, in my opinion, superior to watchmen.) flex mentallo and the invisibles.
I pretty much agree with that, but these days Grant Morrison hasn't really been on his game, imho. Lodog I definitely recommend the Transmetropolitan series by Warren Ellis. It's funny, sometimes intelligent, and the artwork is really great. You likely won't find any individual issues these days, but you can get the whole series in trade paperback.
