there is no where else to post this!

I am seeking a hairstyle.
Long hair, no pins, barettes, clips, scrunchies, et cetera.
resembling a twist at the nape of the neck.

Its described in the Kushiel's Legacy Trillogy (Jacqueline Carey) as the Lover's Haste Knot but the technique is not described.

My 1 year old son likes to hide my hair stuff, so any ideas would be much appreciated.

you could always try shaving your head, then there will be no hair clips or anything else for him to hide on ya....... But serriously I have no idea lol.
