So I heard that the old Donovan song, First there is a mountain ... is being used in a TV commercial to advertise SUVs. Please tell me that's not true.
Glad I don't watch TV then. I don't want anything to taint that song, which reminds me of when I was a little girl first listening to the oldies station with my mom.
Funny coincidence. I used to be a huge Donovan fan, but later I came to dislike his voice and music. Downloaded a couple of his songs just yesterday, including There is a Mountain, out of nostalgia. Crap that it's advertising for something that will kill the world a bit faster. One day the working class will exert its rightful vengeance.
