There are two kinds of people in this world...

Complete the above statement as you wish if you can think of something interesting. I think this can be a very interesting way providing clarity when trying to examine the people in your own life. It's quite easy to categorise people when you think about it, and therefore being able to anticipate their actions. And yes, before anyone says it, such statements shouldn't be taken literally... it's also important to remember that everyone doesn't always neatly fit into any one particular category. Anyway here's a few of such statements:

• those who appreciate a good view, and those who wouldn't even notice if the hills opposite their house had turned to desert over night.
• those who feel somewhat uncomfortable being in a lit room with undrawn curtains at night, and those who don't mind at all.
• those who give you their respect when they first meet you, and those who try to make you earn it.
• those who think trying to bargain is rude, and those who don't.
• those who walk, and those who don't understand why people walk
• those who warn you why you shouldn't like certain people that they themselves clash with, and those who let you make up your own mind about said people... even if they'd still love to bad mouth them.
• those who give priority to keeping the commons area tidy over keeping their bedroom tidy, and those who tend to prioritise in the opposite way.
• and of course (for those you don't already know!), there's those who dig and those with loaded guns!

 

here are some examples of 2 types of people --- still no judgement:

 

ok--- so i do judge----- ketchup DOES NOT GO ON THE FRIES, IT GOES ON THE SIDE

 

obviously this is over crust--- but if you put mushrooms on your pizza i also judge you

 

couples have broken up over this one :

 

And they will both let you down eventually.

 

I cut my Sandwhichs in half
I prefer ranch over ketchup on my fries.
The bed only seems to get made by my husband when I'm at work.

those who put consideration ahead of everything
and those who think they're doing to world a favor by refusing to consider anything.

those who try to tell you what to pretend about things no one actually KNOWS anything about anyway,
and those who love the diversity of the real universe precisely for the very strangeness of it.

actually there are not two kinds of people in this world,
there are as many kinds of people as there are people,
each a unique combination of all sides of all things there are two or more sides to.

i notice (and prefer to) the view (of land forms, vegetation, odd and aesthetic forms of infrastructure, and whatever little furry creatures may permit themselves to be visible in it),
more then whatever humans happen to be in and obstructing it.

 

Those who are there for you in your hour of need.
Those who need you when you're on the toilet.

 

Those who have consideration and care for members of their community and those who don't give a sod for anyone but themselves (classic examples of the latter being members of the scumbag 'nasty sleaze party') !!!
