What makes you go YEE HAW?

 

When my day is over.

 

So, when someone shout “yeehaw” they are shouting, “right left”. As internal combustion took hold, mule power faded. Only the most financially strapped farms-those furthest from town-still kept mules. Thus, the yee and haw commands came to be regarded as uniquely rural and financially poor.
