The worlds veiw on drugs, acid mnore specifically

I was talkin with my friends at lunch yesterday and i brought up lsd and all of them flipped out saying shit like you shouldnt do it your gonna ruin your life. I know this isn't true but it iritates me y is the world so harsh on illegal drugs? Also, what makes certain perscription drugs safer/better for you than other drugs? It really pisses me off when i try to defend acid but the world is to ignorant/stupid to listen and i always have bullshit thrown in my face like it burns holes in ur brain and it errodes the top of your spine. I'm just wondering if anyone can explain the worlds ignorance?

 

lack of knowledge = ignorance. when people tell me ridiculous myths about LSD, i tell them thats bullshit, then I rain knowledge on their asses. knowledge is power.

 

I never heard the holes in the brain thing from acid, i have heard that from ecstasy. I dunno, before the internet had such widespread information these rumors were passed down probably since the 60's or 70's and were probably pretty strong and just became justifications for people not to do these substances which is fine, but many possibly justify their use of other substances with these rumors...

Nothing makes prescription drugs safer or better at all. In fact for a lot of them, the drug companies probably hope you gain a dependence so that way you will keep coming back for the shit.

Even in the drug community you still hear rumors spread about certain substances, like I said earlier I think to justify one's own use of a particular substance.

People who use alcohol, make up shit about pot.

Pot heads make up shit about coke and meth.

Hallucinogens users make up shit about MDMA.

Natural entheogen users make up shit about Synthetic drugs.

Heroin users make up shit about crack heads.(lol i'm not sure about this one)

But yah, it's not just those against drugs that foster these rumors is what i'm trying to say.

well people who will just use mushrooms do the whole natural vs. synthetic thing and some LSD users will say they abstain from pills because of purity when the acid could be DOC, DOI and it's even been shown that some 2c's can actually fit on blotter as well.

 

I've been told a time or two that I'll "waken my demons" with acid. I think that line is actually used in Walk Hard.

basically, I've just developed a sense for the right and wrong people with whom to discuss tripping.

 

In this case I'm actually gonna side with your friends.
You are 15 years old man. I don't mean to offend you, but spend your current time growing up a little bit, get tripped out on the world through sobriety before you start experimenting with drugs.

 

I know someone exactly like your friends. He still thinks that acid makes you suicidal.

Why would you want to live sober? Experimenting with drugs is the best thing people can ever come across for mind expansion.

 

I'm not advocating 100% sobriety.
I have personally used drugs for "mind-expansion" (whatever that means), but I also realize there is an appropriate time and a place for such a thing, and 15 years of age is not that time.

 

Everybodies in their own invidual veiw of the world, some people like some people veiws while most peolple just dont give a fuck. Its great.

 

I don't really codone a 15 year old taking acid , but if its anything like my area its pretty scarce, so I say READ up on some info for possible effects and if you feel you want to do it go for it.

 

trust me i have done ALOT of reasearch infact in my free time aside from playing xbox thas all i do, although my friends who have never done/researched acid seem to think they know more than me about it is very frustrating trying to explain something to someone who is to ignorant to open their mind to anything other than bull shit rumors

Drug studies are almost entirely funded by government, which is why the "studies" always find the devastating effects of drugs instead of the soul-expanding ones. Why be truly free when you can buy buy buy or join the army instead?
