i'm not really into the whole genre. Like i don't know all that music. But i know Tricky & Portishead and i f*#%ing love them both.

I saw hooverphonic live once too, and it was sooooooo good.

I imagine if i knew more i would love it.
    :D

also i know i haven't really been on this forum long, but i have read a bunch of your posts we_all_shine_on, and i just wanted to say you are sooooo adorable.

i like bluegrass, i think rave music is like a big abandoned building. empty and creepy. just my 2 cents though.

I feel old looking at some of those names and shaking my head. I like bluegrass too, not my favourite genre of course, but I have been getting into the Dixie Chicks lately!

we all shine on, every band you listed I love.

back in 2000-2001 I got onto a big trip hop kick and was into all of that stuff.. I still listen every now and then .... it's very beautiful haunting music (most of it).... trip hop is a really big catagory though.

Yeah, i like some trip-hop and some drum 'n bass as well. I don't know if this music is really trip-hop (i'm not an expert) but some of my favourites in this genre are Portishead, Red Snapper, Amon Tobin and the Crystal Method.

Does anyone know Red Snapper? :)

I love triphop, I enjoy listening to the music but hardly know who I am listening too. I hear it on internet radio stations. It reminds a little of new age music somewhat.
