I suppose he is largely unknown, but this dude, Robin Trower, does the best job ever of channeling the spirit of Jimi Hendrix. unique, but also very similar riffs to Hendrix. He came into the rock world less than a year after hendrix died. Bridge of sighs is a nice slice of blues/hard rock pysch. Great guitairst, anyone else like him?
okay. I just never hear his name mentioned when I am around people talking of classic rock bands..though that is usually the heavy hitters...hendrix, stones, beatles, floyd, the who. glad people talk of him.
Robin Trower is great! I think he was in Procol Harum too. I like turning on my blacklight and getting really fucked up to his music.
