NO MORE WARS PLEASE... Thank you.... Was that so hard??? 30,000,000,000 $NU$CL$EA$R$ 2,000,000,000 HEAL$THC$ARE$ People are dying and suffering, that can be aided Why are so many people suffering??
We dont want, no leaders who take it all for themselves, the profits, we want global community, everybody rules.. but not communism.. earth peace
Yeah, I'm sure the war which you probably have no perspective of half the world away hurts your little soul up in the boondocks. Go and watch some more MTV kid.
Well... Its so emmense none of us can even think of it... so many details to consider, and plus the EArth pulses through all of us... we're all connected... Its not just soul or boondocks, its ONE.. Oh yeah hey, and its not just boondocks.. Its Shaumbra Service Center
Our consumption of energy ties us to the mideast. Unless you've seen one of your friends shot at, no, you're not one with the the soldiers or civilians or insurgents in Iraq. And you don't know what their going through. You have no idea what they are going through and it doesn't hurt your soul. It's trite. What about the millions of people in Darfur and Chad living in tents in the desert because their threatened by daily militia incursions to kill and rape them? Does your soul bleed for them too? Should we more soldiers there to protect them? Or does their pain not bother you. How much have you thought this out aside from what sounds poetic to you. Really?
Oh im totally considering all aspects.. not just the united states being "evil" or something... Im considering all aspects of unneccessary suffering.. if the human race was currently more prone to helping eachother (we have the capability to feed all the hungry im sure) on all sides there would be no suffering, and war.. Afterall we're all here together in the same boat..
Yes it would be great if everyone in the world stopped using violence to acheive their means. But the world isn't that simple at all, things are very complicated and there are many positions which defense is justifiable. Heres some info for you, theres enough food grown in Africa to feed the worlds hungry. Africa is the worlds Largest agricultural producing continent per capita. Much of it rots in fields and warehouses. Global situations are very complex, and it's much harder to paint a right and wrong when you consider all sides, because everyone is looking out for their own intrests. If we could stop that, sure it be ideal, but we have to approach every situation in a different manner.
The privileged (usually Americans) who long for peace seem to forget that the majourity of the rest of world isn't privileged (or peaceful). There should be more American-instigated wars that lead to an insane despot's dethroning and the establishment of a democratic regime. Too bad there isn't much oil in central and southern Africa.
You'll notice how when people say the rest of the world doesn't like america (anymore), they are specifically talking about Eurasian countries who were involved in the war crime of oil for food.
No one in duh void anywhere likes duh rippoff /americahnoz, try goin out duh country an cee. Bad Karma 2 b an AMerichannono.
And then they have the nerve to say that this war is almost equivalent to the Nazi's persecution of the Jews...
Entering the 21st century i have doubts about our current view of the way things function.. I really dont think it can last much longer..
I completely agree with SitarEric and OnlyOne on this one. Loudi and PoliticsAreAwesome, we have been trying for thousands of years to acheiveall our goals and get peace by fighting and haveing wars. It isn't doing a damn thing but causing more war and destruction! Worried about africa? Well I SURE AS HELL don't think that fighing a damn war in Iraq is gonna help them! What WOULD help them is STOPPING this damn war and getting that **** bush out of office before he kills even more people, and sending the money we would usually spend on blwoing up iraqi citizens on helping out the Africans. I am fuckin sick and tired of all this fighting and war... It is ALL done under lies and false pretenses and it is all BULLSHIT!!! A war for peace is like fucking for virginity. It makes NO sense! No, I don't know anyone personally who has died in Iraq, but a friend of mine's brother and my cousin's best friend BOTH died fighting in bush's little panty raid in the middle east. Bush is the worlds biggest asshole cocksucking **** since hitler, and I don't really see a differance except hitler was an evil genius, and bush is a moronic cowboy who's daddy was a slightly less moronic cowboy, both whom somehow got to be elected! Granted, it isn't ALL bush's fault, it is his whole fucking administration of fascist racist nazi killing-machine cunts!
No what you're saying are cliches. Human history has been at a point where violence has been apart of our history. And we are at a point where all that can change. But getting Bush out of office won't happen 'til 08. In the mean time, we need to set up an Iraqi coalition of armed forces that can defend itself from foreign born insurgents who are only in Iraq to kill other arabs. We should be spending more resources in Darfur, but how do you prpose we do that in the middle of having a holy war declared on us by islamic extremists? We can, but we have to spend our resources wisely. Maybe knocking over Hussein wasn't the best idea at the time, although he was a genocidal dictator who slaugtered his way through 2 million kurds and shia. The only way we had him stopped before was by sequestering him in his palace. But it didn't work. The UN kust starved out the Iraqi people for 11 years under Oil For Food causing millions more deaths. Arguably Iraq was better before the first gulf war. Much fewer people are dying in Iraq because of starvation and medical needs now thenn were dying under Saddams regime? Does that make it worth it? I don't know, but I do know the situation is much more complicated then oil pillaging, and the neo cons did what they said they would do, draw out Al Qaeda. But I agree their our situations in Africa and Asia which may become more pressing in the future. But if you're only strategy is to get rid of Bush, then it's not a strategy. It'll be doing what we've been doing for the past 50 years. Nothing. But the world can't have nothing, it needs change. One part of the world that needed radical changing, was the middle east. People speak of Iraq becoming a puppet state of Iran, but the past few weeks have shown an Iran much more willing to disclose it's nuclear program. The middle east needs reform. So does much of Africa. If it takes a military to do that sometimes, then maybe it is nessecary.
So you have me confused... are you for or against Bush? Your profile says you're a liberal but what you're saying sounds just like what all the republicans I know say. I am sad we ever got involved to begin with! Our reason for going was invisable WMD's and it was bullshit. They didn't care if there really were WMD's or not... I don't find it too hard to beleive 9/11 was an inside job actually. Not saying I DO beleive it, I just don't rule out the possibility. Think about it, in 2 years, bush lead a chase from chasing a terrorist leader, to the whole country of Afganistan, he peaked our fears with the "Terror Alert Levels" which meant people would support whatever the dickhead said, because people are stupid as fuck when they are scared, and scaring the masses is like shooting fish in a barrel, when you contol the media. He then says that this so called "war on terror" leads us to what place? Iraq of course! Pure coincidence that there are other countrie's who have dictators FAR worse than hussein, that bush just happens to have a LOT of oil ties, and his daddie's previous invlovment in the same country. I think anyone who thinks that the war in Iraq was really about freeing the iraqi's or was about actual WMD's needs to open their eyes. There is no way in hell that everything could lead so smoothly back to iraq as it did. 9/11 came, people paniced. Bush used propoganda to keep up the terror. Whether or not bush had anything to do with 9/11, it was deffinately the tool he chose to use. It was the tool of a tool.
