so the time came to say goodbye to my dreadies. After almost 4 years of growth and energy build up they got too much. I had a revelation, a shedding of skin, of ego, of my past. I walked to the ocean on the sunshine coast and hacked each one off with a knife... and striped down to my skin and dived in the ocean and cleansed in the waters of the pacific golf stretch. ... ... ive never enjoyed the water so much I still have three of them on my head as a little reminder to myself, but aside from them they have all gone Feeling fresh and renew, time for a new phase in my life. If my hair decides to dread again it will feel good knowing that i watched it grow from scratch. much love to you all Fleassy xox

Your dreads were beautiful, but by the sounds of it you made the right decision and your hair looks very nice short too.
yeah fleassy! im soooo glad i got to meet you. you are a beautiful person, and it will shine through no matter what you look like. are you still in canada?
Sarah, yea i am. Im in victoria untill the end of the weekend, then ive decided to fly back to england on the 12th. Where abouts are you? I saw Alex again at the Rainbow which was a nice suprise. thank you for your lovely comments everyone. Im thinking of shaving it right down once im back in england. i want to make sure i have a home before i do that, because ive had a freind with no hair and no home in the winter in brighton and man she looked so cold all the time. (i say no home, she was living in her van but it wasnt fully kitted out at that time) Hey Stoney, nice to see you again too. its always nice to pop back on here and still see names i recognise around
i cant believe you were here and i didnt see you *is sad* you are very beautiful, with or without dreads and its sounds like it was just the right time to say goodbye to them and what better place? good luck

wow. gosh. i remember those dreadies when you celebrated your one year mark!! it's sad to see them go because i've pretty much seen them grow up (as has everyone else on here that was there when you got them) but, life goes on and so does hair. you look beautiful no matter what Fleasy.
You look absolutely stunning, full of light! What a beautiful way to say goodbye. Good luck at Uni. ~Love and light.
