Around the "We belong together" era, was such a huge Mariah fan, you know , back when she had some class, oh how the mighty have fallen, I make jokes about it, but I'm devastated, I might cry myself to sleep tonight

Did she twerk a little to compensate for her voice as well?

It's an in the moment picture, she was busy singing. Her eyes are closed. Nothing freaky about it.

 

She has to compensate?

 

Coincidence wants that I recently saw a clip of her on dutch tv of a recent stage performance. She had to either compensate (as she already seems to be doing in the op with her outfit) or get of the stage (not that I really would advise her to go twerking btw).
She could not manage to sing the way the audience expects of her. And since she doesn't have songs like for instance Bob Dylan, that stay good even if the voice isn't she obviously has to compensate in order to remain succesful. To be clear, she doesn't have to compensate for me personally. Getting of the stage suits me just as fine

i do feel kind of sorry for the woman in the picture, because she looks like someone's grandmother who believes she has to try to look sexy to earn a living as a professional singer.

which to me, seems at least as nutty as i am.
