The Superhuman

I am very interested in the idea of the superhuman. Any question, discourse, or dialogue on this subject is welcome in this thread.

Nonsense, I am superhuman and my superhuman power(among many) is an enormous psionic pulse that constantly rewrites mankinds memories, erasing my amazing superhuman deeds.

And never will be?! What makes you so certain? I am not superhuman, but I could conceivably be an ancestor! lol Have you ever experienced what people have called 'telepathy'? You know, where your mind is indistinguishable from others for a period of time? That state where one may say something through another? The bliss that tips over into risk of permanent insanity---paralysis of the will.

I think of the superhuman as a goal for humanity, and conceive it as being that loves itself the most, that cannot deceive itself about this, that discovers itself as highest creative self of all selves, and what is past and beyond effect gives no less cause for celebration if only because it is past.

Being that is somehow everything that has ever been 'human' and so wills beyond itself.

I don't know the whole basis of "the superhuman", but from the language it means above human. Since humans are Homo Sapien, we will most likely evolve to the point where our species becomes so different we will be Homo ____, therefore being more evloved (super, or above) humans. It is logical that since species have evolved (if you believe ine evolution) for millions of years we will continue to do so.

 

I'm interested in the idea of the superhuman because I think I might be one. Nietzsche talked about the superhuman and from what I understand, that was a man who derived his mentality and morality from being his own God in a subjective universe. There are no absolutes other than that. I am God, MUAAHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAAA!!

Hi guys, I just want to apologise for 2 things:

1. looking like I'm trying to take over every thread on this forum. I just love reading all your posts and I can't resist having my say. I'm grateful for all the talk because you all got loads more intelligence than the shits I have to hang around with all day. I read alot of interesting stuff that makes me think, so I just gotta spit it out.

2. How I seem very forthright when I spit it. I know what I think and I say it how I see it. I ain't gonna pussyfoot around like "of course I could be wrong but," etc..etc.. What's the point of that. I don't mean to offend. I don't expect you to agree with all I say and I respect all the different opinions.

 

I don't see any need to apologize for these qualities.

But are the people you have to hang out with really shits, or just people not entirely suited to your company?

What's wrong with being where we're at now? I mean sure we need to improve things, but I see no reason to be superhuman.

well first how about learning how, accurately and actually, to avoid screwing everything up for each other.

the most great peace will come when people fully and accurately understand HOW we togather create the conditions we complain about: and i'm sorry but i don't see how any system of belief, has a damd thing to with that, other then to motivate people to want to.
