Has anybody else read this? I just began it, and I just can't get through it. The whole book is basically formed by experimental writing...it's quite strange to me. I'm also reading his novel "on the road", and I really like it. I can barely put it down.

But does anybody have opinions of "The subterraneans"?

It is very good, wonderful actually once you get into it. I droped it a couple of times for other books because I couldn't truly get into the mood of The Subterraneans, but when I finally did, I loved it.

yea i started it, but had a hard time getting into it. I'm sure I'll pick it up again though, because it's still a pretty cool way of writing.
