A few of my friends used to do this. I told them to knock it off. Its approval seeking behavior.
Guys think that explaining how nice they are will get you to like them more. Its actually a turn off for women. Women want to discover how nice a guy is through his actions, not his approval seeking words.
It's sad how many guys talk a woman right out of liking them by opening their mouths and spewing everything great about them.

I turned 50 some hours ago..
It's been a blast.
I accomplished my goal partially with my private pilot license.. probably a next few weeks after I pay the medical off. And pass a verbal, which is around the corner . my pretest are about 70% but those are fumbled on sporty I'll be fine..
I already passed my check ride for my aircraft. The Italians are off for the rest of the week until Monday.
just remember our private pilot license isn't really any big deal it's just like a driver's license for a car that flies..
And when I go into instrument rating it will not make any difference I'm not a commercial pilot..
Not for hire.

 

It really only means that I can take the airplane out that I'm rated for by myself.
