well razor, i think john skipp answered that question. there is one hell of a lot of great new (and old) written fiction out there. hollywood just re-hashes the same old tired and true shit because, it is proven to bring in the $$$! how dumb down do you want to make good and great fiction, so it can bring in the big bucks for the stock holders of the studios? my hunch is, if they are ever made into movies, it will be as independents by some up and comming creative director and their team.
