The Smudge Enhancement Project

I've started this project, where I post one smudge painting I've done everyday. I smudge photos into something new. I do this on www.smudgeproject.com. Every visit is motivation.

 

I really like them.. Very cool. Do you "smudge" them digitally or do you paint it a certain way?

 

Honestly these look way too edited for me.. Edited and not necessarily hard to do.
