I was in jail for the past 30 days for non payment of fines.

I sure am glad to be back amongst you noobs.

Glad you're out man... was a tad curious about your absence.

 

yeah that makes sense, at the tax payers expense you sit in jail and I bet they still dont get their money... lol. backward ass society..

 

It was wack.

Well, the county wail wasn't too bad. No hostility.
Smoked weed on my 21st bday, Christmas and Christmas. Smoked maybe 4 cigs a day. Ate well. Had a lot of time to think.

Thing is... I was in jail for failure to pay fines, yet I had to work and was billed $58 per day to be added on to my fine.

 

What makes no sense to me is wanting to sit in jail vs paying a fine. Different strokes i guess.

Odd- the employment situation there and they demand you pay up--- how?... and they add to your fine. Makes "perfect" sense.

And they require you to work for free. I don't think it is ethical at all.

The feeling is mutual.

 

You do not need me to point out that the legal system has nothing to do with ethics.
