Does anyone like the Scorpions? They are alright, the best song I heard from them is "Always Somewhere", it starts off sounding almost identical to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man". I also like "Still Loving You", "When The Smoke Is Going Down" and "Lady Starlight". Their other songs are not that good. This band is alright but not great, but overall they sound better than Van Halen.
I'm not a fan, but Hello Josephine is a good song and I love Fly to the rainbow. Check that album out. It's the only album I heard from them I really like.
I only know 'Still loving you' and it's nice. I don't think they're a band that would really interest me any further though.
Before there was Lynyrd Skynyrd there was the Allman Brother Band a southern band far more exotic than Lynyrd . dont belief me check them out at = Live at Fillmore.
Alas this gap wearing, conservative girl must admit....When "Rock you like a Hurrican" comes on you just want to act naughty. The Trans Am lives on!!! Lock and Load.
I don't think so, the best song is "Always Somewhere", that's the song that they copied off Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man".
oh yeah, any song which copies another song is good........... I forgot! my bad... originality doesnt count...... just as long as a band can sound like another one, they must totally rock.
No, I only have their greatest hits on cassette. It's called "Scorpions Gold". If I would listen more to them it would be from their mostly 70's stuff that I would be interested in.
Because the Scorpions don't interest me as much as others. If you had mentioned anything about Uriah Heep it would different. I just got into Uriah Heep and they are one of the best progressive rock i've heard.
Anyways I know the Scorpions are much more popular in Europe and places like South America and Asia etc. In Germany they're probably huge.
