Now, The Journal of Neuroscience published a study that shows women recognize male sexual sweat. You might wonder, as the blogger Neurocritic did, what is “sexual sweat?” The paper doesn’t provide the chemistry, but in the study it’s the sweat excreted as men watch erotic videos. Researchers collected “neutral sweat” while the men watched educational documentaries. Women sniffed the scents while their brains were scanned by an fMRI. All but one of the 19 women did not recognize the scents as human, but their brains distinguished the sexual scent. Two regions reacted more to the sexual sweat than any of the other smells: the orbitofrontal cortex (an olfactory area) and the fusiform gyrus, responsible for face/body recognition. The authors speculate that activation of the fusiform may be the brain recognizing the human quality of sexual sweat, but this leap requires more study. Haha that totally makes scence, i swear it I can smell sex. I think i'm not the only one who can either. I get embassed sometimes when I've just had a sex session and I think my parents can smell it or something. I mean no matter if I change my clothes afterwards redo my hair back up that way it doens't look like I've just had wild sex, the smell still lingers. I also don't know if anyone else is as honry as I am, cuz i can somehow always manage to tell when other people have had sex also. it is a good scent though
Certainly the scent of a woman is real - we evolved that way! Unfortunately we have entered the 'purell generation' where pubes (which hold the scent both m/f) are shaved away, enemas and bottled douches are substituting for honest smells and antiperspirants keep us from sweating during sex! My last words will be, "I only loved natural breasts, hairy vulvas, and warm, willing asses with my unmutilated prick, tongue, and a nose that can smell welcoming pussy at 20 paces!"
I remember the first time I had sex, I was so paranoid that my parents could smell it on me that I went out and bought a pack of cigs and smoked a few before I went home. Told my Dad that I had been hanging out with a few friends, and that they smoked.
