A thread in a different forum inspired me to post this pattern - I've made a few of these this past christmas with HUGE success.

Get any yarn, and the appropriate needles. You'll likely need at least 2 balls - enough to make a scarf long enough to wrap around your neck at least once and have the ends reach your waste.

Cast on enough stitches to make the scarf approx 8-10 inches wide. Knit every row.

When your done, take the last 6-7 inches of each end of the scarf, and fold it up. Sew the sides, leaving the top of the pocket open to keep your hands warm.

To make the scarf more feminine, add an eyelash yarn to trim the top of the pocket.
