Haha, that's awesome, Rani! That's gonna be so cool. I missed them every time they came to Toronto, and I'd love to see them. Have a great time!

Good luck with the tickets. The Stones can get PRETTY pricey.

I hope you can go. Have fun.

I don't care how they perform. It's all beautiful to me. I am a Rolling Stones FANATIC. I practically worship Mick Jagger. This is the most AMAZING thing ever to happen to me... the tickets aren't on sale yet, so I'm not sure how much it'll cost. It's in a hugw Football arena called the Sun Bowl, so does that mean it's general admission... like first come first served for the field seats?

No. Usually with Rolling Stones you have to pay $600 for good seats (like close to the stage). I have heard the lowest tickets go is $300 in some arena's. You might be lucky to get nosebleed seats at $150 or so.

Most big name concerts don't work in the first come/first serve, otherwise they would have a stampede on their hands. In Boston, someone climbed up the staging to be obnoxious/get a closer look. That's how bad it can get...

Scalping raises the price even more, and part of the reason why tickets are so much...

But I hope you could make it, it would be a great experience. :)

If tickets were that much I'd be crushed.

But its the fucking Stones...it may be worth it. I think when they were in Toronto, you could get in for $80 or something for the shittiest seats. And they went up to like 5 or 600...good luck...should be an awesome experience...

It's just my parents won't pay 150$. We can't afford that. 80$ maybe. Being high on life never lasts very long. I'm probably not going if it's that expensive.

Hmm... $150 to see some old Brits... nah, I don't think so...

Forgive me, but the only band I would have ever payed that much or more to see would be:

    1. The Dead, with Jerry

    2. The Doors

    3. The Doors and the Dead...

Yeah, I'm not a huge Stones fan...

I like Paint It Black though.

Ryan's right though; you might be able to find some really cheap seats...just don't expect to see them. For me, it's more about the music, so while it's nice to see who's playing - it's also nice to hear it being played live. You

Unfortunately, the Stones are all about making money. That was the huge complaint when they came to Hartford last year - ticket's were extremely expensive. Now, my area might be an exception too, as drumminmama said in another post - you live in a low touring zone...so tickets might not get up that high because they know people won't pay that much.

Look at Barbra Streisand...people are balking at buying her tickets because 1) she lied about being retired. 2) they are just too expensive.

Honestly, why can't tickets just be $50 and under? I don't want frills. I just want to see an artist I like perform their music.

Last time AC/DC went on tour (I forgot which city it was) the tickets sold out in 4 minutes flat. I'm keeping in contact with the Sun Bowl so I can figure out exactly when tickets go on sale. I hope the Stones won't sell out that fast.

At prices like that, they better come off the stage and sing to you personally...

Heh heh. That would be funny though, Mick Jager gyrating in your face. I don't think my fiance would appreciate that...

150$? Really? For the cheapest seats? Wow. Fucking great. Guess no Stones concert for me. It was fun while it lasted. I'll just go ahead and add that to concerts I've missed this year. Dammit. I thought I was gonna get to see them.

Don't give up, there may be a way. Though the only way for me, admittedly, in the UK was to spend £85 on a ticket and then travel from the Midlands (England) up to Glasgow in Scotland to see them.

Still, it was a great show. Maybe not £85 worth of great, but pretty great anyway.
    (Lynyrd Skynyrd were better.)
