    "The rise, of civilization"(?)

Some of us have a more cynical observation that whatever education there is for us to assist us, the more lore of knowledge we seem to lose (?)
((Experience being a lesson we don't hold enough store by)) = methinks

Word - Jesus? What about the billion gods of antiquity before him? Yesterday I drove past a local Zoroastrian church near me . . . no love for Ahura Mazda?

That would be a misnomer considering this statement, give unto ceasar what is ceasar's and give unto god what is god's, the axiomatic separation of church and state.

lol I was being sarcastic. yea its true Zoroastrians don't get nearly the recognition they deserve.

I don't know much about their beliefs.

yea but you have to admit church and state have been interconnected for centuries now. I guess that goes to show how modern christianity has fallen from the teachings of their own messiah!

christians sure do have a pretty powerhouse influence over society though.

I think it very well of your edit job there Desos, haha..and the other guy was right too, my remiss the omissions of those zororastians, whoever they are or were...and certainly, (could I really find no room for him?) Buddha is thought well of and can sit well with most.
I fall out of northern california and am one to flair his fancy....not often.

What is true in spirit should also be true in word as well so it pleases when satire, even if poorly done, is recognized for what it is.

To those who give themselves as examples of knowledge and teach us the practices of fairness... ...somebody still has not gotten the message.

Christians are much more influential in the USA than here in the UK. Over here they're actually quite marginalized. And I say that's a good thing.
They had too much power for too long. The crown ursurped the power of the church under Henry 8th, we had religious wars, burnings, persecutions - all enacted by followers of Jesus.
Nowadays though they have very little power or influence.
A lot of people, me included, find the whole thing a wee bit boring and irrelevant to reality as we know it.
