After LSD was made illegal in 1966, the psychedelic movement diminished.
But today there are still individuals who continue to advocate their use, potential, and need for more research.

Who do you think is at the forefront of this?

    What names come to mind?

    (Those still alive)

    Chill dooood.

I really can't think of many but I am not one to read much of the works of others...Terrence Mckenna comes to mind but he isn't alive anymore.

Are you asking this in search of something or asking just to gauge what everyone else knows?

If you are asking in searching means PM i have a lot of good stuff to share :)

Topics that are not at the forefront of the board are often ignored. Thats why I asked again.

I am asking because I am not familiar with many people who are. I know of studies that are being done, but lack any familiarity with names of people who are currently writing books on this stuff.

This may be the wrong place to ask.

Don't take this wrong way, but there is a divide in the psychedelic 'community'.
There are many people who take a psychedelic to just have a good time, experience something new, or get 'high'. There is another side of individuals who approach them from a scientific point of view.

I'm asking because I'm interested in modern thought on psychedelics more than I am the thoughts presented by Leary and the bunch that began the movement in the 60s.
