Does anyone else feel that the problem with Christanity isn't the religion itself but the people in it. Its based on loving one another and treating everyone with respect. Its just the morons between the time of JC and now(especially now) that screwed it up. If Jesus came back today I think he would say "what the hell did you do to my religion?!"
Sadly, the problem is mankind. People have taken things out of context, dislodged from the original meaning, added their own interpretation, and decide what part of faith best suits them. Faith is now like grocery shopping. You can find something pre-packaged or pre-cooked, to fit your needs. It's like walking down the virtual religion aisle and finding a denomination that, "caters", to you. Christianity has become so convenient that now people believe that all they have to do is say a simple prayer and that means they are saved (more on that another day). They base their faith on a few simple verses out of the entire Bible and assume it's that easy. When Christ talked about his church in the Word, he was implying ALL followers together (one faith). Not a separation. However, because all men sin and fall short of the glory of God, they will never agree with one another, so we have several different denominations. We ourselves have made it easy for the devil to plant the seeds of false prophecy.
