my current phobias: Aeroacrophobia- Fear of open high places
Mottephobia- Fear of moths
Obesophobia- Fear of gaining weight
Tomophobia- Fear of surgical operations

old phobia: Porphyrophobia- Fear of the color purple

lol i know someone with this phobia:Venustraphobia- Fear of beautiful women.

 

Aeroacrophobia- Fear of open high places. (always had this fear)

Asthenophobia- Fear of fainting or weakness. (always had this fear)

Astraphobia or Astrapophobia- Fear of thunder and lightning.(Ceraunophobia, Keraunophobia) (always had this fear, I am a mess when there's thunder and lightning, I actually get myself sick with panic)

Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces. (always had this fear)

Hylephobia- Fear of epilepsy. (this came up after I had grand mal seizures following the birth of my twins. Before that, it was never an issue)

Lilapsophobia- Fear of tornadoes. (always had this fear)

Necrophobia- Fear of death or dead things. (always had this fear)

Nosocomephobia- Fear of hospitals. (the room literally starts spinning and I feel like the ground is unsteady beneath my feet when I'm in a hospital, I get clammy, light-headed, start shaking and get sick to my stomach)

Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- Fear of dying. (always had this fear, but moreso after my near-death experience following the birth of my twins)

Tomophobia- Fear of surgical operations (always had this fear, but moreso now as I'm afraid of being put under and never waking up again)

 

and none of you are creeped over spiders??

 

Spiders scare me, but not enough to warrant phobic.

 

Arachibutyrophobia: The fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth.

 

Failure- Atychiphobia or Kakorrhaphiophobia

 

chronomentrophobia: the fear of clocks.
