The official "What Needs To Happen" thread

The economy needs to doom.

Its needs to get easier and easier to find a job.

All gun laws, except the one requiring one to be 18 years of age to buy a gun, need to be dropped.

Cannabis growing and selling need to be legalized for average folks.

No matter who the president is they need to be able to accomplish anything major with congress not in their way.

The world needs to be made attractive to live in.

Add on to what needs to happen.

 

Politicians, and thus the laws they create, should not be for sale to the highest bidder.

 

No Nation should have veto rights at the UN

 

We need new structure to our government

 

We need to make campaign finance and contributions illegal, reinvent the electorate or do away with it entirely. We need to insist that all legislators devote all of their time to passing and modifying the laws and statutes according to the wishes of the people who elected them - they should be required to read and demonstrate knowledge of every bill and they should be required to vote on every bill. They should not be allowed to nor should they need to be required to fund raise for themselves or anyone else. We need to make it illegal for them to meet privately with any interest group and all emails and correspondence that any legislator receives with regard to his office and duties should be made immediately publicly available. Also, all elected officials should be subject to complete financial transparency - including personal ventures - and all accounting should be available for public viewing at any time and in real time.
