~*the OFFICIAL swap box# 2 thread*~

alrighty folks, our first swap took awhile and even went awol on us and it was quite the trip indeed.

well i am ready to fill the box up with beautiful goods and send it on it's merry way for the second round. I will leave the book we all signed in there, for us to sign again.

everyone knows the drill right? if not here's a quick low down.

i fill the box with goods and send it to the first person on the list of adresses of people interestested in participating, and i post in this thread when i send it.

when that person recieves it, they post in this thread that they recieved it, and take the items they like from the box and replace those items with new items of equal value, and then post again in this thread when they send it to the next person on the list, and so on and so on, until the box completes it's circle and returns to me, hopefully containing all new items.

The list of adresses stays in the box and it's all in order. I know that people's budgets can delay the box from moving quickly but i would hope that no one keeps it for more than a month as we are all waiting and excited for our turn!

This works on a trust system. Only those who are 100 percent dedicated to participate co-operatively should sign up for it.

so, so far i have Bree, Drumerboy, Leprcon, Moonjava and Hippylngstckng.

i would like to have 10 people, if that's possible. so 5 more!!!

oh and as much as i would love arlia and lozi to be able to participate, again i want to keep it on this side of the planet. sorry my loves....how did the UK swap go anyways?

everyone interested on this side of the big blue, please pm me your mailing adress. The box is almost ready to go!

i also want to add that i want to include my sister in this swap even though she is not on hipforums. She is lonely and bored and is tired of hanging out with a 2 year old every waking minute of her life, and she thinks the idea is awesome and asked if she could join in....any objections?

Just wanted to clarify they don't necessarily have to be NEW items, but they do need to be in good shape. Just "new" as in "something else". Right, sea?

yup, new as in, new to someone else.

They can be things you have around the house that someone else might enjoy more than you, dollarstore stuff, handmade goods, whatever.

oh and if you happen to have groovy Jesus stuff, that's extra cool seeing as we are a Christian group.
