The official Kastenfrosch Jewlery Swap Part II

OK, since the last swap was a blast, everyone got his/her thing, nothing got lost, I will do a second swap event. This time it's for bracelets!

Ok so here are the rules:

+not more then 15 people should participate, to keep it kinda small.
+You should be willing to pay shipping fees that might go into other countries (for example, I myself don't live in the US).
+You should be willing to put a lot of effort into your work. It doesn't matter what material you are using, but work with love, because everyone else will too...
+And you should be a regular poster to the hipfoirums, I would say, no less then 100 Posts, to bring some trust into the thing.

(sorry for the tight rules, I know I am a little bit of a controllfreak, but in the case of this swap, I made good experience with this, otherwise I am working on this..........)

Ok, so you sign up, by saying that you want to participate, and sending me your adress. (which, of course only goes to the one, sending the necklace to you) then you make your necklace, take a picture of it, and post it in this forum by, let's say Febuary, 20. On that day, I will raffle out which piece goes to whom, give the adresses to the appropriate people, then people mail their stuff.

Well I thought I would get things started here in the hope of drumming up interest. Here are my submissions. I was on a roll this morning and couldn't stop at just one. That means that my swap partner will get two bracelets.

The first one is a chain maille piece made from stainless steel rings with a stainless stell clasp.




The second peice is made from aluminum soda tabs and nylon cord.




Hope this gets more interest.

Well, I hope you are OK? So, are we all doing two bracelets? That's no problem for me. I've got the first one done - I will post pictures tomorrow. I had so much fun shopping for supplies. This is a blast~!

 

Hiya! I figured since two bracelets seemed to be the trend, I'd do two too!

I have to admit that having never done one of these before, I'm a bit intimidated by the bracelets posted so far... ...but, hopefully these will be ok.

The first one is made with paper beads and jingly bells on stretch elastic plastic cording. It's a bit on the semi-delicate side since it's made with paper beads. They do have a coating on them to give them some protection from the elements, but, they are fundamentally paper. So, bathing with it on wouldn't be a good idea.


The second one is made of hemp with plasic chunky beads. I figured it was a little less feminine looking (in case a guy winds up with this) and a lot more durable.
