anyone reading the political threads here must have heard of the godwins law. if not it is basically that the first person to bring up hitler in an online argument loses that argument.(want to know more just google it) but i have noticed in my time reading between the libs and cons that there is a new law needed. it seems as though people like to try to end an argument with "it was on fox news" or "you need to stop watching fox news" so i guess you get the idea. i havnt thought of a name yet, i guess the murdoch law will fit. but from now on when someone quotes fox new or accuses someone of getting their info from fox news they automatically lose that argument under the (murdoch law...(name possible to change)...so who will be the first to lose an argument under the new law?)
Maybe we could expand it to the 'main stream media' in general. It seems many on the right think that those on the left are fools for getting their information from main stream media, but quite a few on the left think the same of the people on the right.
im open to expanding it to msnbc, i think they are the ones i hear that are the far left liberals...not sure though, i dont watch them much. congrats balbus.
i don't know about far left, but they definitely cater to democrats much like fox caters to the republicans. and then there is cnn, but i don't think anyone takes them seriously anymore.
lol i heard the same thing about cnn, and the funny thing is they used to be the news channel i go to and now i just look shit up online rather than any of the big 3 channels.
