I really don't understand all the hype they get. They sound very pedestrian and boring -- basically your standard fare indie rock that has nothing new to offer. Their lyrics are also atrocious. Like any band, they do have a few good songs, but after a while their stuff all sounds the same.
I'm not their biggest fan but.. "I was afraid I'd eat your brains" is pure genius. That whole song is, but that line just blows me away.
