The Munster's house

I used to live not too far from this place, I even when to the first Halloween party they threw. I have moved since then, but if you check the site, I believe they still hold Halloween parties, with celebrities.

I thought they did a good job on it, but personally I would have made the Addams' family mansion.

Those people in the 60s put a lot of work into those TV shows. Most sitcoms today have people just sitting on a sofa.

Yea, exactly. That's why I don't watch the modern sitcoms. And there really was a lot of work put into the 60's comedy shows to make them really, seriously funny, while at the same time giving a real good message about being good to other people and respecting them. Modern prime-time 'comedy' is mainly just an exercise in sarcasm. You can keep it.

I loved the Munster's house and the Addam's Family's, too. Real classics! Those were the kinds of places I really wish I could have lived when I was growing up. :sunglasse

 

Actually it was in L.A. located on Adams street (Ironicly). The house was demolished some time ago and actually didn't have the tower like the Victorian Italinate one that was used on the TV show. The exterior shot of the real house (that was demolished) was added on when they made the paint matte for the look of the house and yard. From what I read the original painting used for the exterior shot of the Addams house has deteriated over time.

 

Let me guess: They put in a strip mall in its place.

There was a time when the Grand Central Station was going to be demolished. Only the people saved it.

I always liked the way they would blow up those model trains on Addams Family.

Yea, and how they let Pugsley set off dynamite in the basement! If I had only grown up in a normal family like theirs....

They'd arrest Pugsley today for being a terrorist (and his Dad too).

I saw on the news that some high school guy got suspended for having a butter knife in the bed of his pickup truck leftover from a weekend camping trip.

Yea, exactly. And they'd definitely arrest Gomez and Tish for child abuse. What a puritanical, fucked up country it's become.

 

And all this time, the WMD were at the Addam's family house. Whata you know.

I wonder what they would do to Uncle Fester and Cousin It. Someone should do a comedy sketch about the Addams Family in modern-day post-911 America.

Excellent show...... Addams family is good too but i like The Munsters better

 

Munsters is MUCH BETTER than Adams family by much!!
