I just seen an amazing film
'A Funny Thing Happend On The Way To The Moon'

There is footage of the earth, which is suppost to be from far out into space, but it was low earth orbit, taken from a round window in the rocket.

You can see people moving infront of the camera.

Also the actually pictures that are suppost to be on the moon are terrible.

My last point is how did the men in the rocket even get past the Van allen belt, that is a radioactive belt that surrounds the eart, it would kill you.

Humans have absolutely been on the moon. These idiotic conspiracy theories have been thoroughly debunked many, many times.

It's interesting you should bring this topic up, Winston, because there is a late-nite radio talkshow here in the US called Coast to Coast AM. The topic of last night's show was the fake moon landing and the guest was Marcus Allen, the British publisher for Nexus Magazine (www.nexusmagazine.com).

Did We Go to the Moon?
British publisher for Nexus Magazine, Marcus Allen, presented his analysis of the Apollo moon landing, which he believes may have been faked. The reason for such a hoax was "basically for propaganda," so that America could demonstrate its "technological superiority over the USSR," he explained.

Even if the trip to the moon occurred, Allen thinks the photographs supposedly taken on the lunar surface were phony. Photos taken by astronauts may have been fogged and useless, so instead images were made on the realistic simulation sets that had been used for training, he hypothesized. Further, the Hasselblad cameras used on the missions had all manual controls which would have been very difficult for the astronauts to manipulate wearing their spacesuits and armored gauntlets, he said.

What were "some of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century," surely had to be taken by professional photographers, he argued, noting all the images were correctly exposed, accurately focused and well composed (without the use of a viewfinder). In regards to the moon rocks, he suggested that Wernher Von Braun may have collected meteorites in Antarctica years earlier, and small samples of these were given out for testing.

A Fast Blast poll conducted at the end of the show (with 125 participants), found that 60% believed we went to the moon, and 40% said we did not.

Personally, I don't know if we went to the moon or not, and I don't have enough evidence to come to a definitive conclusion as to if we did or not. However, there are a lot of mysterious questions surrounding the moon landing, and I see nothing wrong with researching and looking into such things.

 

There have been plenty of books written refuting these idiotic claims about the moon landing being faked. With that said, nothing I can say will convince you of the truth, because you've simply decided that the most sensationalist explanation for everything must be right because the world is more "fun" that way.

 

If I may be allowed to intercede, how about keeping an open mind about it? I believe that man did in fact land on the moon. If there's a strong enough case to prove otherwise then I will listen to it. To be honest, I don't think our lifestyles will change dramatically one way or the other and I am more than certain that if the American public were ripped off, their wasted tax money would not be returned, or used to fund something a bit more useful to the human race.

Its not even hard to believe man went to the moon. Well within the grasp of the technology of the time, and fits right in to the progression of space travel and exploration

 

even van allen says that the amount of time it takes to get through the belt is not sufficient time to cause you any damage.

also, when i was in the 8th grade one of the guys came to my school to talk about it. i've watched all kinds of shows about the supposed fakeness of the moon landing, none of their "evidence" was irrefutable.

 

Well, the person on the radio last night made a good point when they said getting to the moon wouldn't have been a problem. It would have been taking off from the surface of the moon that would have been a problem.

But still, I have no opinion either way, as I haven't done enough research on it to come to a conclusion. All I will say is that if it was faked, it wouldn't surprise me.

I would be very surprised, so would my grandpa who worked at NASA during the Apollo program....if it was faked, they fooled everyone

 

It wouldn't be a surprise if it was faked; it would be an impossibility. It would be much less difficult to just do the mission to the moon, than it would be to fake the whole thing so perfectly and then cover it up without a single person involved speaking out.

Networks like FOX and CBS that give credence to these ridiculous theories by giving them airtime ought to be ashamed of themselves.

 

Arguing against these people is like arguing against someone who insists that 2+2=5. And to whomever asked why we only went to the moon once and never went back you need to pay attention more. We went to the moon 6, yes SIX times. Apollo missions 11 through 17 with the exception of 13 landed on the moon. Apollo 13 was supposed to land on the moon but we all know what happened there. Oh, and about that, apollo 13 was supposed to land on the moon but didn't, so if the moon landings were fake then apollo 13 must have been fake too. So why would we fake failing to land on the moon?

 

The points offered as evidence it was faked are compelling:
No blast crater under the lander, no stars in the background, silent astronauts, moving flag, etc.
I had a friend tell me that the fake was made under the direction of none other than Stanley Kubrick, in London, UK. He would have been a great choice, if true. My two questions that have not been answered, which throw the whole theory into doubt are these.
Surely the Russians would have been watching very closely, and if they did not see a very convincing liftoff, journey, and return, would have likely blown the whistle. The space race was in full swing, and they were ahead up until then. I doubt they would have remained silent, and doubt they would have been fooled.
Secondly, numerous amateur astronomers around the world would have been watching, and surely one of them would have noticed if the Apollo ship was just orbitting the earth and not headed to the moon.
Any thoughts?

I watched a documentary about a group of people that said it was all fake.. most of theses groups bring up the same points.. sadly i can't remeber it all but i can remember the thing about the flag.. it moves because the rod supporting it is a peice of wire that is shaped into a 90 degree angle , so that unlike flags on eath that have the opportunity to be displayed properly if it is windy.. the great glory of the stars and stripes can bee seen properly. this does not tell you why it moved .. well if the astronaut was to hold the end of this support (for the flag) it would boing (technical term ) up and down like if you boing a ruler on the end of a table .. does that make sense ?. anyhoo this happened .. so it appears like its the action of wind but its not . They did a experiment with a light chain mail instead of cotton in the same shape of a flag and set it up under water ..it is prety much identical to what occured on the moon.

They had all the things you mention and more and explained them not i admit in scientificaly accurate experiments , but realy its not needed ..

The russians i believe did not blow the whistle , because this may have shown where they were at technology wise.. its like saying 'that could not happen' and the americans saying 'oh so you have done some research that proves this, have you .. very intresting'.

The russians knew it was possible and knew they (the americans) actualy did it.. giving into conspiracy would have shot themselves in the foot imho.

 

Why does it matter?

 

If the astronauts suits kept out the radiation of the van Allen belt, then they were bloody good.

Why didn’t they use this same material when Chernobyl exploded, there was less radiation than the van Allen.

The pics were faked, taken in the desert, they are awful.

Any way Im not gonna argu with you people who put so much trust in the wonderfull American Government.

fuck the government. i'm sure the shadows on my personal photos don't line up properly, either. terrain and all that. that doesn't convince me.

they weren't in the van allen belt long enough to be microwaved.

and there's no point arguing with someone who AUTOMATICALLY disbelieves anything outta the mouth of the us government. i'm sure if the government told you the speed limit was 65 on this stretch of road you'd assume there was som vast right wing conspriracy to fuck you over somehow.
