Ok, lets talk about Polyandry and Polygamy, the fatal flaws, the how to's, and the necessity of trust. Trust is always a major player in any relationship. If I can't trust you, there's no way in hell I'll ever go there, not even on a casual one night … Heat of the moment, I couldn't resist scenario. The reasons being many, upon many, upon many more.

I mean, if you're only out to get off then it might be best to look elsewhere, but if you're wanting to get off with someone trustworthy, with someone you can count on, with someone or someone's who understand the need to trust too, then lets talk. Seriously, life is difficult enough without having to worry about cheating spouses or girlfriends, and I'm sure boyfriends who don't give a good GD if they bring something unwanted home to you, so … Also, jealousy … jealousy is more of an issue than it isn't. I'm a certain way. I like certain things. There are certain things I don't like, don't wish to see or hear about, or be part of.

With that being said, do you think honesty might be a perquisite in a trust based relationship, whether monogamous, polyandrous, or polygamous? I say that with a hint of sarcasm and humor of course … The answer is obvious isn't it? Serious minded people who are sick and tired of the BS … I need your help.

    Fair enough?

It is possible to cheat in a poly relationship.
Cheating is going outside of the set and agreed to parameters,

    In a relationship, trust rules.

Trust rules is right. Say you had the choice to be given 5 super powers, what would they be? I can answer one fairly quick.

    1. To have the ability to know what and who I can trust naturally/instinctually.

Super powers? The two that have always been at the top of my list are Invisibility and the ability to Time Travel up to 100 years into the past. :D

I've gone further back than 100 years, but invisibility is pretty much second nature now. ;)

    Desired Super powers:

    1. The inherent ability to know what and who can be trusted
    2. The inherent ability to know and understand what's best for me in any given situation
    3. The inherent ability to choose in favor of the above ability without fail
    4. The inherent ability to understand why I choose as I choose
    5. The inherent ability to be happy in nearly every situation without offending anyone

i think if all those things were inherent abilities, what's the point in life?
they are abilities to be gained, that's the game, isn't it.

When you're young and new too, but without increased abilities, we'll always get what we always got, which amounts a whole lot of a little and whole lot of a lot.

… I view swinging to be a far cry from multiple partner relationships. I would prefer multiple partners, yet not swing, unless there were a safer way to swing with people who are in it for the long haul too. I'm a lifer either way I do it … Monogamy or polygamy. Polyandry would be acceptable too, but not when they're with me. FFM only - for me. It would be nice to find people who are into what I'm into, and who can be trusted, and who only want one M and Multiple F … I prefer multiple partner family life over the idea of swinger life, and to me there is a huge difference. Too big a family is too big, so I get picky, and I would expect those who were to join the family to be picky too. "Trust Rules"

… as another so eloquently stated.

What happens to free will in that case?
If you always know what is the best course of action, doesn't that remove your options?

Best course of action isn't the same as knowing what's best for yourself. Like ... I prefer sweet coffee over bitter, so sweet coffee is best to me and for. why? Because I'm made in a way that makes me prefer sweet coffee. Best course of action varies when it comes to how the obtain what I need to drink my coffee sweet, depending on circumstance. Course of action is always circumstantial, but I'm always me and I always know what I prefer more than things I don't like as much. It's the difference between what's good and bad or evil if choose that term over the other. I'm free in as much as I embrace who I am and follow that spirit ...ya know? Some people hate chicken . I happen to enjoy it when it's cooked the way I like it.
