    I love you, Distance.

    falling from the train i
    skinned your knee-
how strange to be your ally.

like a fog the color of forests under
    the barefeet of cities
    relative to nothing
    the night resembles a question
    marked with your breath

    a lady, dancing,
dips into you with every step
    and with every step
    lets go

i really liked those first three lines but lost interest when the black cat was mentioned... if it were me and my poem, i'd lose the cat.

I love the last stanza the best.
    The whole poem was great,
as to be expected from you.

    Love travels the distances,
    yet sometimes we are sad
    feeling the absence between us.

    :(
