Lol thanks. Every time my coach wants me to kill a star, I now get told to "go hit the snot out of them. "
Good job! A respectable finish even if you had your whole team with you and you didn't so it's even more impressive.
Thanks!! It was my favorite derby experience to date. Everything hurts today though. I'm glad I had a surprise day off.
That is kick ass! Im glad to see im not the only one who takes all aspects of a sport you are playing serious at all times, Even in practice! The snot part was icing on the cake lmfao. If you are going to play a contact sport, You better be 100% ready for contact at all times. Hope your team brings home the hardware in the up coming competition. Do it prison style, First bitch you see, Send the team(s) a message you're there to snap bones, Not bra's.
Can't stop, won't stop. Hell Yeah!! I was more focused on game play and blocking rather than hitting, but of course I'm covered in bruises. Proof that I kicked ass.
If this was anything like a car race I'd say if your arms are covered in bruises you've been fighting but if you've got bruises everywhere else, girl you've been in the way.
congrats on the tourney placement. your local newspaper sounds as bad as mine though. did they really repeat the same 4 paragraphs twice in the article? sometimes i wonder if small town newspapers even have an editor anymore.
"if you've got scrapes all up your right side you've been racing hard, scrapes all up the left side, buddy you've been in the way"
Congrats (big time)! QP P.S. There was this movie I saw (a long, long time ago) called The Kansas City Bombers (w/Raquel Welch). I just wondered how accurate it is to the sport? Was it pure Hollywood hype? Or was there some truth in it? I'd really be curious to know...
