I want to see it, but im worried that disney is going to destroy the plot and leave half of the book out.
ummm, isn't the book is like 100-200 pages? They add lots if I am not mistaken, especially in the battle against Jadis and her army
its 224 pages to be exact...lol the book is pretty short in all fairness... are they making movies of all the books in the series?
i sure hope so...the BBC only did the first 4 books [LW+W, Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the Silver Chair]..the second and third were made into one film those old movies scare me, mainly cause of the actors playing the talking animals *shudder*
I saw it last night! It was awesome. It stuck true to the book. Gave me goosebumbs several times, it was so good. I can't wait to see the next one!
There was a little weird sexual tension between tumnus and lucy though. And i dont remember santa in the book!
for those who have seen it, would it be appropriate for a 6 and 8 year old, my grandgirls? i heard there is some violence in it? angel
Santa is in the book, thats one of the signs of Aslans return cause Christmas came...I don't know about the movie if they call him santa though, but in the book it is Father Christmas
Ive responded in the thread Narnia above, I think you should go and see it first it would be ok for 8 year olds but probably not for 6 S
Ha yeah, my sister got the giggles about that...giggles that were only intensified by the children shouting about wet beavers.... but anyway, i loved it - i thought it was really true to the book (for a movie) and the magic of it sucked me in. and yes, it does have some in your face religious stuff, but think that you can still enjoy it as a good story nonetheless.
