I am glad you liked it.
It seems to me that few people have seen this masterpiece, which I think is a total shame.

The lead actor sadly passed away shortly after. That, combined with the movie ending, makes it even more touching.
Essentially, it's just such a human story, if that makes sense.

Now I want to see it again.

 

It's available to rent on Amazon. I may watch this tonight. I haven't seen a good film for weeks.

last film I watched ? It was my grandson Josh's birthday Sunday 20 so Callum ( my other grandson They grew up together ) came over and we went for a few beer's When we got out of the pub I said "what you guys wanna do now " They had a think and both together said " lets go back yours with a few Tinnies and watch Eurotrip Like we used to do when we were Kids " Soooo we watched Eurotrip and watching it made me realize something !!

I was a fucking bad grandad !

Nothing against the actress, but her character in Orange is the New Black bugs, dude. If I was in prison with her, I would have shanked her already.

 

Gripping, convincing, somewhat tragic film. Very sad when Georg realizes that he was indeed betrayed by Christa. I read in trivia that the film cost only 1.6 million euros to make because all the actors agreed to work for 20 percent of their fee.
